7/26/2010 update on Mt. Royall and Harrington Place HOA pool from Charleston Green Commercial:
Regarding the status of the cloudiness of the pool, Pool Sharks assures us that the pool is safe for swimming. Pool Sharks was at Mt. Royall Friday applying soda ash to balance the Ph level in the pool. The soda ash takes some time to work its way through and clear. They were there twice on Saturday monitoring things and cleaned the deck filters but also found that a couple of the filter baskets in the pumps are in need of replacement, and they are working on that project today.
In addition, it is important to note that they are also putting major amounts of chlorine and other chemicals in the pool in order to combat the elements of sweat, sunscreen, etc. and the most recent one--the heat which has recently had an index in the triple digits.
They also mentioned that the crepe myrtles are dropping petals which are filling the filters, so the landscapers are working on trimming blooms while they are in the neighborhood today.
